An open community of stakeholders working towards a sustainable global environment and the conservation of biodiversity. CEE seeks to promote and deliver evidence syntheses on issues of greatest concern to environmental policy and practice as a public service.
The Foundation for Research on Biodiversity is a platform for the different scientific players and stakeholders in society concerned with biodiversity. It was created in 2008, following the Grenelle Environment Forum, with the support of the ministries for research and ecology and eight public research establishments, joined by LVMH in 2014.
Generating innovation, promoting scientific projects in association with society and developing studies, overviews and valuations are at the core of the foundation’s missions. Up until now, more than 170 structures, associations, businesses, managers or authorities have joined the FRB with the aim of facing scientific biodiversity challenges together.
